Boeing is also nurturing internal startups and is launching this challenge to select 3 startups who will work side by side with 3 Boeing teams in a tailored startup accelerator.

  • Eligibility

    • Seed stage tech startups who’s focus aligns with the challenge area capabilities & themes
    • Indian startups
    • Each team must have at least 1 full time employee. A ‘full time employee’ is defined as a person that maintains standard business hours working on the technology or venture (at a minimum, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm).
    • The product or technology the team is offering for consideration provides a functionality or capability not currently available in any off the shelf product, or a functionality/capability that can be demonstrated to possess a significant advantage over current offerings in some aspect.
    • The product or technology the team is offering for consideration represents original ideas wholly owned with freedom to use or is licensed by the team.
    • Individuals or teams incubating innovative ideas in India.
    • The team has formed or is a part of a recognized, legal entity for the company structure

    • 3-month custom accelerator program to help startups rapidly develop and scale beyond seed-stage with Boeing and the Aerospace Ecosystem

    • Boeing HorizonX has a principle that what is good for the startup is good for Boeing, and is therefore opening up key milestones like the pitch day and demo day to a wide variety of Indian startup and corporate ecosystem members to give participating startups wide exposure and access to learning & business opportunities Introductions to other potential partners and entrepreneur ecosystem members outside Boeing will occur
    • Funding for 3 selected startups: $10K USD prize in exchange for participation given rights to future equity
